Choose a shared base
Agree where the group will sit and keep ordinary belongings. Ask the venue about storage if you need it, including what is actually secured and who has access. Don't assume a chair or table is a locker.
Bring only what you need for the outing and keep essential items under your own control.
Avoid one person carrying everything
Each adult should know where their phone, keys and return-travel essentials are. If someone volunteers to hold an item, make the handover explicit. Don't leave a bag beside them and assume they noticed.
Use a separate container for wet or sandy items so they don't end up mixed with documents and electronics.
Do a check before the car arrives
Give everyone time to find shoes, collect borrowed items and settle bills. Check the seating area and any changing space you've used.
Add a short departure checklist to your Outxie plan: personal bag, shared equipment, payments and waste. A clear routine is more useful than asking “Has everyone got everything?” while the vehicle is already waiting.
Rules, fees and opening hours change. Confirm anything that matters before you rely on it.
