The details, made clear

Terms of use

Outxie helps you discover places and organise your own outings. These terms explain what you can expect from the service and your responsibilities when using it.

Last updated: 1 October 2026

1. Using Outxie

By using Outxie, you agree to these terms. You may browse the catalogue, build personal plans, save your itinerary and export or share it using the available tools. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. If you are not old enough to agree to these terms yourself under the law where you live, use Outxie with a parent or guardian’s permission and supervision.

2. Your plans, your decisions

Outxie is a planning tool. We do not make bookings, sell tickets, reserve spaces, arrange transport or hold money for venues. Adding a place to a plan does not create a reservation or an agreement with that place.

Prices, opening hours, availability, travel guidance and descriptions can change. Confirm details, accessibility, entry requirements and safety conditions directly with the venue or relevant authority before travelling. You choose your activities and are responsible for making your own arrangements.

3. Accounts and saved information

Keep your sign-in account secure and use accurate information. Guest plans depend on your browser’s storage; clearing that storage or changing devices can remove access to them. Account syncing requires a working connection and successful sign-in. Keep an exported copy of plans you need while travelling. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or recovery of every unsaved change.

4. Content you add and share

You retain ownership of your notes, plans and uploaded photos. Only upload material you have permission to use, and avoid including other people’s private information without their permission. You allow Outxie to store, process and display that content as needed to provide the planner and the sharing features you choose. Anyone who receives a shared plan link or exported file may be able to read and forward its contents.

5. Respectful use and photo credits

Do not use Outxie for unlawful activity, harassment, harmful uploads, attempts to access another person’s account, or interference with the service. Outxie’s design and editorial content, and third-party photographs, remain subject to their owners’ rights. Photo attribution and applicable licence information appear on our Credits page; viewing a photo here does not grant unrestricted reuse rights.

6. Third-party services and payments

Google sign-in, external websites and venues have their own terms and privacy practices. Any purchase you make directly with a venue or another provider is an agreement with that provider. Read their cancellation and refund conditions before paying. See our Refunds policy for how this applies to Outxie.

7. Availability and your rights

We may update features or restrict access that is misused or threatens the service. Outxie is provided as available, without a promise that every listing is complete or every feature will always be accessible. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate third-party information, venue services or arrangements you make independently. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Changes to these terms

We will publish revisions here and update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the service where appropriate. Our Privacy policy explains how information is handled.
