Questions to ask before a Busua surf lesson

Ask a surf provider about beginner suitability, equipment, supervision and rescheduling before adding a lesson to your Busua stay.

Explain your starting point

Tell the provider about your swimming ability and whether you've surfed before. Ask what participation requirements apply and let the instructor decide what session is suitable. Don't choose a lesson solely because its advertised duration fits your schedule.

If children are joining, ask about their specific age and supervision rules.

Understand the session you are buying

Confirm instructor-to-student numbers, included equipment and where the session takes place. Ask how conditions affect the decision to go ahead and what happens if the lesson is moved or cancelled.

Get the total price and any deposit terms directly from the operator. A general beach listing doesn't book a lesson.

Leave time around the appointment

Avoid placing a fixed transfer immediately after the expected finish. You may need time to change, collect belongings and eat. Keep companions who aren't taking part informed about where to meet.

Save Busua Beach as the location, then add the confirmed instructor and meeting point privately. Follow the provider's on-site instructions rather than treating written planning advice as a substitute for supervision.

Rules, fees and opening hours change. Confirm anything that matters before you rely on it.
