Outxie plans days out and trips in Ghana. If you run a place people would enjoy, write to us and we will come and look at it.
Calls and messages are welcome. Writing is fastest, because we will ask for the details below either way.
What we look at
Beaches, kitchens, castles, trails, rooms.
Anything somebody would build a day around. A beach with a good turn-off the main road, a kitchen worth the wait, a guesthouse that gets the small things right, a site that deserves more visitors than it gets.
We look at it properly
Places are checked before they are written up, and the practical facts are confirmed with you rather than copied from somewhere older.
We write it in plain words
No score out of ten and no invented atmosphere. What it is, what it costs, when to go, and who it suits.
It goes into the planner
The write-up sits next to everything else in a reader's plan: prices in the budget, the stop in the day, and the distance to the next one.
We do not sell the review
Nothing on this page has a fee attached, and there is no version of a listing where paying changes what we write. If a place is not right for the planner, we will tell you rather than pad it out.
What to send
Five things, and we can start.
Send them in any form you like. A voice note is fine. If some of it is missing we will ask rather than guess.
1The place and where it is
A name, the town or area, and a pin or a street someone can actually find. If it is hard to locate, say how people usually get there.
2What a visit costs
Entry, a typical meal, a room for the night, whatever applies. A range is fine and more honest than a single figure. We quote what to expect and say it is an estimate.
3When you are open
Days, hours, and anything that changes them. A place that closes on Mondays causes more ruined days than almost anything else we list.
4What makes it worth the trip
One or two sentences on who it suits and what they would miss by skipping it. This is the part we cannot write for you.
5A number or address that reaches a person
So we can confirm the details before we publish, and so a reader with a question has somewhere to go.

Outxie does not book, reserve or hold funds, so we cannot take a reservation for you. What we can do is make sure somebody planning an outing knows you exist and knows what to expect.
